NUMERICAL SIMULATION

Electromagnetic absorbers consist in a matrix and an electric or magnetic load.
Their behaviour depends on their intrinsic parameters and the frequency range they are efficient in.
An Absorbers’ efficiency and performances are not determined by the quantity of energy absorbed but by the level of forward
energy which is reflected. This parameter is called reflectivity expressed in dB.
Depending on the frequency of operation absorbers can be classified in two main
categories : narrowband and broadband.
